Water for All: A Gravity-Fed Water Supply System

There was a time when something as basic as water was not part of our daily lives. During the summer months, the water simply did not reach our community. We were left without water and had to do whatever we could to collect it from a nearby stream. The same water was used by animals such as pigs and cows, and by other people upstream for bathing. Even so, we had no other choice but to use it for our daily needs.

This situation especially affected our children. Some became ill after consuming contaminated water and had to be taken to the doctor. Bathing was difficult, and washing clothes and dishes required a great deal of effort. Living without water had become a constant burden for our families.

Today, our reality is completely different. Thanks to the project implemented in our community, we now have access to water in our homes. Something as simple as turning on the faucet has become a blessing that transforms our daily lives. We can wash clothes, clean our dishes, keep our homes in better condition, and even consume water more safely by boiling it when necessary.

This change benefits not only us, but also our families and future generations. We know that our children and grandchildren will no longer have to experience what we did. They will have better conditions, improved health, and a better quality of life.

We are deeply grateful—to God and to all the people and organizations who made this project possible. We know that we are a distant community, but someone thought of us, someone chose to help, and today we can see the results in every home.
